5. Afterremovingthecover,removetheplatecoveringthemembraneswitchbyremovingthetwo

screws.

 

6. Oncetheplatehasbeenremoved,removetheoriginalmembraneswitchandreplaceitwiththe

newswitch.Removethesealinthebackoftheswitchtorevealthestickysurface.

Securethe

newswitchintheproperlocation. 

7. Reseatallscrewsandplatesonthecover.

8. Re‐connectthewhiteconnectorandthenewmembrane switchconnectortothemainboard.

9. Onthemembraneswitch blackconnector;noticethatonesideisflatwhiletheotherside

shows

3smallmetalverticalrectangles.

10. Makesurewhileconnecting totheboard,thesidewiththe3smallmetalverticalrectanglesis

facingtowardyouwhileconnectedtotheboardasshowninthecloseuppictureabove.

11. IMPORTANT.Theconnectormustbeconnectedinsuchmanneror

theswitchWILLNOTwork

properly.

12. Onceallconnectionsaresecured,replacecovertothesteampressandfastenedallremaining

screws.

13. Insurethatthetoppresslockisalignedproperlywhenreseatingthetopcover.

14. Turnonthepress.

15. TesttheswitchinbothLEFT

andRIGHTdirections.


